It’s Movie Night
November 24th, 2009I was able to watch a movie last night together with my family. We watched the last full show of Twilight Saga: New Moon in Director’s Club located in SM Mall of Asia. The movie started at 10:00 pm. I enjoyed watching it — true, but I wasn’t overwhelmed by this movie unlike Twilight. I think it’s because Edward Cullen didn’t take part much in the movie. New Moon’s story was mostly about Jacob and his love for Bella in which an Edward-Bella-Jacob love triangle started. In this movie, Jacob also began his transformation as a true werewolf.
The movie started with Bella having her 18th birthday. Bella had a paper cut inside the Cullen’s residence which leads to a fight between Edward and Jasper. Because of this incidence, Edward realized that Bella was not for her (this is a lie!). The Cullens decided that they have to move on to another place to avoid people in Forks that they don’t age even a bit.
And with Cullens gone, a group of American Indian men (including Jacob) took over Forks. These pack of werewolves don’t kill humans — only vampires. They protect the people by hunting down vampires that visit Forks. They are after Victoria (a vampire) who keeps on coming back to kill Bella.
On the other hand, Bella was always on an adrenaline rush. It’s her only way to see Edward. But all she see is just a smoke like image of Edward trying to warn her about the danger she is getting into. And the most stupid thing that Bella did was jumping from a cliff. Alice, who can see the future, thought Bella was already dead. She can’t see the future with werewolves so she didn’t saw Bella being rescued by Jacob. I thought this was the reason how Edward thought that Bellla was already dead. But I was wrong. One misunderstood phone call led Edward to the Voltari with the intention of ending his life.
Of course, Alice saw Edward’s trip to the Voltari so she and Bella rushed there to save Edward’s life. Well, if you want to know how Bella saved Edward from the Voltari, I suggest you watch the movie for you to know yourself.
