The end of year 2009 is fast approaching and we are now heading to a new year of 2010. Let me recall the past experiences and events that happened in 2009.

First was the celebration of New Year for 2009. As usual, we had a family reunion in Makati. Almost all were present except, of course, those that were outside the country at that time. The celebration was actually fun — the gift giving, party games, drinking sessions and group chats. You can view our photos here:

Second event was my furbabies’ tv guesting in Unang Hirit for their Chinese New Year celebration last January 26:

I had another tv guesting in QTV’s Q Tube.  It was all about my online shop Petness and Beauty.  We had a taping in our house wherein I met Ms. Andi Manzano.  The show was aired last April 16.

The next one was last summer vacation.  I had no idea that it will be the last moment that I will be with my favorite niece “Hiromi”.  My sister and her husband went here in the Philippines a few days before Hiromi’s birthday.  I thought that they will just celebrate Hiromi’s birthday.  I was not aware that they will already bring Hiromi with them in Japan.   My dear sister stayed here for two months because there was a swine flu outbreak in Osaka.  And with those two months, we spent the time going out.  Glorietta was one of the places we visited:

Another one was the Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna:

One of the pet activities I joined this year was the successful second year anniversary of Pinoy Pet Finder held in Eastwood

This year, I accomplished my greatest goal in breeding shih tzu –  that is to produce my own champion.  Sphinx attained his Philippine Champion title few days before my birthday.

The very thing that hit our lives very hard during 2009 was when typhoon Ondoy visited Manila.  It was the first time I encountered flood entering our house.  We had to move our things to our second floor to prevent them from getting damaged by the flood.

Tomorrow will be 2010 already.  We don’t know what lies ahead of time but let’s hope that it will be a fruitful one for all of us.  May you all have a happy new year….
