Sphinx is very sick again for the second time. He suddenly got sick yesterday. I brought him to the vet today and requested for a full blood exam (for T4, cholesterol, liver, cbc, etc). But all the results were normal. Even the physical exam was normal.

According to the vet, he has no injury. All bones and ligaments are intact and in proper place. Luxating patella and hip dysplasia are overruled. It’s not erlichia nor hypothyroidism also. He is not pale and has no fever. He remains alert although he can’t fully get up on his own. He still eats as long as I feed him. His voice changed but his throat has no problem also. Actually, the vet cannot find anything wrong with him so I’m still wondering why the sudden lameness and change in voice.

The last thing that I remember was that he was playing aggressively with his father the day before he got sick. So the vet said that it is possible that it’s just his “day off”. Maybe he is just trying to get my attention. Well, he surely is succeeding on that one.

He whines every time I’m not touching him. This afternoon I had a hard time driving to the clinic because he wanted me to put my hands on him always. When I tried to work this evening, he kept on crying. So I made a comfortable place where he can lie down and put it in my lap. Even at this very moment while writing this blog, he is on my lap sleeping.
